### 2. Important Note Regarding Founder Sale Airdrop

The **Airdrop bonus** associated with your early **Founder Sale** purchase tier is fully automated. There is no requirement for manual activation.&#x20;

Following successful hardware onboarding and continuous data communication, your Airdrop allocation will appear within your Console (<https://console.halowave.io/>) dashboard rewards after a few days of active operation.

### 3. Physical Hardware Setup Phase

#### Step 1: Connecting Power and Network

**Connect** the miner to a **power** source (power supply all in one included in the box US+EU+UK+AU) using the power cable into the **USBC port of device**. **And Insert** the specialized **HaLoWave USB** component into the dedicated USB slot on your Miner device. To ensure the highest level of network and uptime, it's highly recommended to connect with Ethernet LAN cable to the **WAN port** of the Miner.&#x20;

If you prefer a **Wi-Fi setup** instead, you can bypass the LAN cable connection and configure your home Wi-Fi during the digital setup phases below.

<figure><img src="/files/8qwh79VlXTtxx4zd3WlL" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 2: Installing and Placing the GPS Antenna

Insert the included GPS antenna directly onto the HaLoWave USB module. While the hardware shell can withstand outdoor weather conditions, a clear line of sight to open skies is mandatory. **Don't block or isolate the antenna inside enclosed concrete structures or blind rooms**. For standard indoor operations, ensure it's positioned directly near a window. Alternatively, for outdoor mounting, utilize the integrated magnetic backing plate to fix it to a sturdy metal structure, or secure it inside a dedicated weatherproof utility box.&#x20;

Get a **GPS signal is mandatory to start collecting rewards**, please make sure to have installed the GPS dongle outside or near a window to obtain a location.

<figure><img src="/files/7tAfzWiIyRHQ4QM7uGNe" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 3: Attaching the Antenna

To establish wireless coverage across the HaLow spectrum, you have two routing paths.&#x20;

For maximum transmission range and structural penetration, it's advised to use one of the **two enclosed connector adapters** (RP-SMA or N-Type) to bridge your Miner hardware to an **high-gain external antenna**. And you can reuse your existing **LoRaWAN Antenna** if you have already one (like old Helium Setup). If you don't have an external antenna, just buy a good antenna such as the LoRaWAN one (since works fine for HaLow protocol) and very importantly make sure that **antenna frequency matches** the **country's frequency** where you'll setup the HaLoWave device.

Example of good LoRaWAN antenna:

* 915/923 Mhz: <https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EyDAfXg>
* 868 Mhz: <http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EuPYXSm>

This step is optional but strongly encouraged for maximizing coverage metrics and also rewards.

**If an external setup is unavailable**, you can proceed by attaching the **included 3 dBi stock antenna** directly to the device interface port.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/WMvmWnWkxRp5D49SHs1v" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

⚠️ Very important: Since Wi-Fi HaLoW is a different protocol than LoRaWAN, don't use the same antenna for two or more different projects! For example, using a splitter. The antenna will conflict and won't work well, resulting in poor results (and few rewards) for HaLoWave. **Use the antenna only for a specific project.**

### 4. Onboarding & Network Configuration

#### Step 4: Accessing the Local Management Dashboard

After completing the core physical assembly, power on the system and wait approximately 1 to 2 minutes for the unit boot cycle to complete and project its localized gateway signal.

1. Open the Wi-Fi settings panel on your personal computer or mobile smartphone.
2. Locate and connect to the access point network named: **GL-MT3000-XXX**
3. Input the unique network security **password** (**Key**) printed clearly on the identification label tracking sticker affixed to the back of your Miner casing.
4. Open a web browser window and navigate directly to the following local IP address string: **192.168.8.1:8080**

<figure><img src="/files/t00ts0nxlOlvyZH6y7xz" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 5: Establishing Internet Connection Mode

Once you are inside the Local Dashboard of your HaLoWave Miner, <http://192.168.8.1:8080/> ,verify your internet connection:

* **Wired Ethernet (WAN):** If you connected an active Ethernet connection via the WAN gateway in Step 1, the portal will immediately report an 'Online' status. No secondary configuration is required.
* **Wireless Client Setup (Wi-Fi)**: If you are relying on an active wireless uplink, click the **Enable** toggle switch to shift network parameters from LAN to Wi-Fi functionality. Press the **Scan List** tool to retrieve close ambient broadcasting points in real time. Choose your designated home internet router or moded, input your password, and establish the link.

<div><figure><img src="/files/NZUW7XhS9ZFvwIdJE2nE" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/RLH9fSpuxPX4mvvC1Dwm" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### Step 6: Registering and Linking Your Solana Wallet

Locate the designated **Solana Wallet Address** registry field on your dashboard. Launch your primary Solana wallet like browser plugin or App (Phantom Wallet is highly recommended), extract your public destination wallet address, paste it into the empty field box, and select **Save Wallet Address**.

<div><figure><img src="/files/bHsBgN80M56tRTnsgZ15" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/n0gNqoY1DnlP31NyiKjA" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

⚠️ **SECURITY WARNING**: The specific public address entered in this section dictates your long-term network reward path. This identical **wallet** address **is required to access your online Console or Dashboard** (<https://console.halowave.io/>). For any eventuality is possible to change the Solana Wallet Address on your local dashboard but please, to have the best experience possible, be careful and don't touch scam links. Always verify your inputs.&#x20;

**Remember:** HaLoWave core support representatives will never, under any circumstances, request your Private Key, Seed Phrase, or Secret Recovery string. **Protect your private key** diligently to safeguard your network balances.

#### Step 7: Automated Regional Frequency Configuration

Driven entirely by your required **GPS** geolocation antenna data, the operating firmware calculates your precise **regulatory zone coordinates automatically**. The internal configuration automatically applies the **maximum** legal spectrum bandwidth channel in Megahertz (MHz) permitted by your local communication authorities. **It's highly recommended to leave this setting unchanged.** Modifying these values manually can impair transmission integrity and affect continuous eligibility metrics.

<div><figure><img src="/files/GOTr5l8MBYqkHyszeslz" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/ytPVxWw6DiTYEweVzBKo" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### Step 8: Antenna Altitude and RF Gain Settings

You must enter specific environmental data inside this panel to optimize signal routing computations across the larger decentralised architecture:

1. **Antenna Height:** Enter the exact numerical value in meters representing your physical antenna placement above the direct ground line (e.g., 5, 8, or 10 meters).
2. **Antenna dBi Gain:** If you deployed the antenna included in the HaLoWave Miner box, define the entry field exactly as 3 dBi. If you connected a high-performance external antenna to cover extensive mile ranges, type the exact dBi specification of your antenna.

Once completed, select **Save Antenna Settings** to confirm your hardware telemetry variables.

<div><figure><img src="/files/YdP43kIRp8OP4neFjRma" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/I732wnMpO6maxlQSDHUc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### Step 9: Optional Private HaLow Network

This panel offers the capability to broadcast a personal and private Wi-Fi HaLow access point completely independent of the baseline open infrastructure HaLoWave Network. You can deploy this custom spectrum route to directly connect local personal IoT nodes or also configure and connect an HaLoWave Wi-Fi Router device.

**Note:** Activating or using this internal feature serves personal utility goals and doesn't yield increased network rewards. Increased rewards, through connectivity or data transfer, is only possible with the HaLoWave Network.

Private HaLow networks (dual SSID) require a fixed radio channel. In the Countries **863-870 Mhz**, regulations require Dynamic Channel Selection (auto channel), which is **currently incompatible in all countries with duty cycle obligation**. This is a bureaucratic/technical limitation, not a HaLoWave restriction.

**Supported regions for Private HaLow Network**: USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia.

<figure><img src="/files/hvp481MsqTFw6fsGhDKR" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Step 10: Local Validation & Device Status

Upon executing all of the above procedures successfully, the primary summary status screen on your Local Dashboard interface will transition to display an **Online** label flag.&#x20;

Your **Local Dashboard configuration is complete.**

<div><figure><img src="/files/TPhy8nJZxF539Au5JbBj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/4GVpnr2h1844DMYq8UOy" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

### 5. Online Console Management & Rewards

#### Step 11: Authenticating to the Console Portal

To begin monitoring infrastructure activity metrics, proceed to the console website:

1. Launch a fresh web browser tab and navigate to the official console website: <https://console.halowave.io/> , if you are on Mobile it's better to use the Explorer section of your Solana Wallet App like Phantom.
2. Select the Solana Wallet you are using and click **Connect your Wallet**.
3. **Important: Remeber to use** the **exact same public Solana wallet** entered on your Local Dashboard in previous **address** Step. In this way the portal interface will work and you can see and check your HaLoWave miner hardware unit.

<div><figure><img src="/files/N1oaXaoRptTEJ6BaTzPQ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/58aeUnDQ7OGZeT7TUvNX" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

#### Step 12: Dashboard & Rewards

Once you authenticate and log into the online **Console**, your Dashboard will display comprehensive live diagnostics for your hardware deployment. This interface is structured into three main areas:

1. **Your Devices & Key Information and Map Section**: In this section, you can monitor your active HaLoWave Miners and view critical operational telemetry data, including real-time online status and uptime metrics. It also includes a dedicated Map Section: clicking on it allows you to visualize exactly where your node is deployed. *Please note:* On the public map ([explorer.halowave.io](https://explorer.halowave.io/)), the actual location of your HaLoWave Miner is intentionally obfuscated (fuzzed) by approximately 50 meters to strictly protect your location privacy.

<div><figure><img src="/files/hutmLFbSCyHLEK9TIVK1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure> <figure><img src="/files/A5MgVtprKLGIWMoCoBbt" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div>

2. **$HLW Rewards**: This panel allows you to track the actual rewards you are accumulating through your HaLoWave Miner activity in real time. The token distribution criteria are strictly algorithm-driven, calculated based on parameters such as network coverage, uptime consistency, beacon communication with neighboring miners, and data transfer throughput. To review the comprehensive token economic models, distribution equations, and baseline network parameters, visit our official documentation page: [halowave.io/tokenomics](https://halowave.io/tokenomics).

3. **Connected IoT Sensors and HaLoWave Wi-Fi Router**: This section tracks exactly which devices are currently connected by your Miner via the decentralized HaLoWave network. For example, as shown in the interface placeholder image, a `1/1 Connected Relay` status confirms that your local hub is actively providing backhaul to an online HaLoWave Wi-Fi Router, accompanied by its unique system-generated animal name (such as *`Arctic Impala 8738`*). Beyond routers, this section will also display any active standard IoT devices and sensors utilizing your network's coverage.

#### Step 13: Setting Up Automated Network Email Alerts

To protect your infrastructure performance scores, go in the **Account** Settings panel and find the **Email Alerts** configuration utility. Input your preferred personal email address in this profile section to authorize system notification updates. Press **Save & Verify** anche check your email folder (also in spam). Find the email of HaLoWave and at last step click on **Verify my email**. You're done, the email is verfied. This utility monitors your live deployment status continuously and will dispatch automated instant alerts directly to your inbox whenever a device goes offline unexpectedly ("When device goes offline") as well as when connection states stabilize and return online successfully ("When it comes back online"). This feature provides crucial operations oversight to protect your long-term infrastructure metrics.
